A fair amount of snow has fallen in the Cordillera Real, setting up great conditions for snow and ice routes for the long term. Initially slabs formed on south eastern aspects (such as the lower part of the French Route on Huayna Potosi) but these have settled due to the recent clear days and morning sun on these slopes.
